Legendary former AC Milan manager Arrigo Sacchi has listed the qualities that have helped Christian Pulisic to make an immediate impact in Italy.

The United States international opted to take on a new challenge in the summer transfer window. After four years at Chelsea that saw him become a Champions League winner but often struggle for a spark, Pulisic completed a €22 million (£19m/$23m) switch to San Siro.

He caught the eye in pre-season and has gone on to hit four goals through 10 competitive appearances for Milan. Pulisic is seeing his versatility put to good use, as he operates across Stefano Pioli’s attacking unit, and is helping to take some of the burden of responsibility at Milan off talismanic Portuguese forward Rafael Leao.

Sacchi has told : “The American adapted quickly to the new surroundings, he moves a lot and never gives points of reference since he starts from the right and comes inside, he is versatile since he can be deployed in all offensive zones and moreover in front of the goal he has calmness and a precise shot.”
