Ramos has scored in consecutive games for the Mexican club and replicated his old Real Madrid team-mate Ronaldo's move after netting his second, away at Cruz Azul. The game ended up finishing 1-1.

Ramos signed for Monterrey last month after eight months without a club following his departure from Sevilla last summer. He was handed the captain's armband on his debut and is now making his influence felt on the field.
